VIRTUAL FOREST PROJECT

The Virtual Forest Project is a joint effort of the Society of American Foresters and the Sustainable Forestry Partnership consisting of Oregon State University, Pennsylvania State University, and Auburn University. Each university built a regional forest "virtual tour" for the world wide web. The virtual tours allow professional foresters and the general public to view different forest types across the country as well as analyze site conditions, management techniques, and sustainability objectives.

Take the virtual tour.
